Bude, Bideford & Barnstaple

Our base for this NEW holiday is
on the outskirts of the medieval
market town of Bideford set on the
estuary of the River Torridge
Monday
We depart and make our way to North Devon and our hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast.
During your stay
• The ancient market town of Barnstaple, which claims to be the oldest borough in the United Kingdom
• Full day out taking us into Cornwall, firstly to the pretty fishing village of Boscastle before continuing along the coast road to Tintagel, where the ruined castle is the legendary birthplace of King Arthur and our final halt is the delightful holiday resort of Bude
• Excursion to picturesque Woolacombe and Morte Bay
• The popular seaside resort of Ilfracombe, a pleasant town with grand Victorian villas, whitewashed houses and a quaint heritage harbor and quayside
Friday
After breakfast we leave and head for home.
Our Hotel
The Durrant House Hotel is situated near the little white town of Bideford.
All bedrooms have private bathroom, telephone, colour TV, alarm clock,
hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
The hotel does have a lift.
