Your expert guide will take you on a 1hr15min tour, guiding you through the history of chocolate's founding families - Terrys, Cravens and Rowntrees. Discover the chocolatier's secrets in the factory zone learning how a simple cocoa bean is transformed into the finest chocolate in our virtual chocolate factory. Also youll discover the history of some of Yorks most iconic chocolate brands take a trip down memory lane and reminisce with some retro favourites from times gone by.
Youll also learn the secret of why chocolate makes us feel so good and why it has an ethical and sustainable future. Then its time to master the secrets of the chocolatier, as you create hand-made chocolates for yourself, before seeing how our very own experts do it. Watch our Chocolatiers as they showcase the art of chocolate-making and sample the fruits of their labour: fresh hand-made chocolates.
Day 1
We depart the West Country and make our way to Harrogate where we check in for our 1 night stay for dinner, bed & breakfast. Free time to explore the delights of Harrogate and enjoy Afternoon Tea at Betty's famous teashop.
Day 2
After breakfast we check out of our hotel and you'll enjoy a short scenic journey to York. Free time in York and a visit to The Chocolate Story to depart 4.30pm to arrive home early eavening.

These include the famous Bettys Tea Room, unique Moorish-style Turkish Baths and Harrogate Theatre.
