Gold Coach Killarney & the Ring of Kerry
The south west corner of Kerry, magnificent coastal scenery, rolling hills and an unmistakable welcome only possible in Ireland.
Tour Highlights
This tour is a perennial favourite and it is not difficult to see why with such an array of scenery, historic sites and places of interest. The lovely lakeside town of Killarney is a natural base for exploring the splendid landscapes of the south west corner of Ireland, most notably the Ring of Kerry. On your day of leisure, the town itself has plenty for you to explore from fishing to walking, or take a cruise on the lake or a horse-drawn 'jaunting car' rides and of course the lively social life of Killarney's famous pubs.

Day 1
We drive through South Wales to Fishguard to catch the ferry to Rosslare. From here we travel to Waterford area where we enjoy overnight dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 2
After breakfast you have the opportunity of visiting the Waterford Glass Factory before we make our way via Lee Valley to Blarney with the chance to visit the Castle and kiss the Blarney Stone. We then continue on to Killarney where we enjoy the next four nights with dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 3
Enjoy a day at leisure or join us as we travel to Tralee, home of the Rose Festival with an opportunity to visit the folk museum.
Day 4
A day to take it easy and explore the delights of Killarney town.
Day 5
Today our leisurely excursion takes us around the famous Ring of Kerry, one of the most famous coastal drives in the world. The breathtaking mountain and coastal scenery changes around each bend in the road and there will be plenty of opportunity along the way for photographs, sightseeing and of course to sample the local hospitality.
Day 6
Farewell to Killarney as we make our way back to Wexford calling en route to the Dunbrody Emigrant Experience, centred on an authentic reproduction of an 1840’s emigrant vessel, it provides a world class interpretation of the famine emigrant experience. We then continue to our final night’s stay with dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 7
An early start from Wexford as we travel to Rosslare for the return sailing back to Pembroke, arriving home early evening.
