A great day out to visit the safari park, house and estate and to be magically transformed at dusk into the Festival of Light illuminating themed areas across the Wiltshire estate.

Specially created for the Longleat Estate, the Festival of Light will return in 2021 with their much-loved winter lantern spectacular.


Upon arrival, your day will commence with your drive through the safari park (please note that we do not drive through the Monkey enclosure). Then you will have free time to explore the grounds and attractions at your leisure with the Illuminations switched on at 4pm.


During the day, you may also enjoy all of Longleat’s animal and adventure attractions. The grounds feature an extensive Safari Park, is home to BBC Animal Park and CBBC Roar and also has over 20 fabulous attractions, including Koala Creek, Jungle Kingdom, The Jungle Cruise, Monkey Temple, and new attractions including the Rockin Rhino ride, Penguin Island and Stingray Bay. Visitors can get right up close to animals such as meerkats, anteaters, porcupine in Jungle Kingdom and enjoy spectacular daily shows.


Longleat has been one of the UK’s best-loved attractions for over 50 years. A full day of family fun at Longleat Safari & Adventure Park all set within 900 acres of Capability Brown landscaped grounds, Longleat House is widely regarded as one of the best examples of high Elizabethan architecture in Britain and one of the most beautiful stately homes. It was substantially completed by Sir John Thynne in 1580 and today, his descendants are still lucky enough to call it their home. At Christmas, you will walk through the ground floor rooms which are traditionally decorated to a particular theme.


Longleat’s iconic 20-metre tall Enchanted Christmas Tree returns to the Stable Yard and the Santa Train (subject to availability and extra charge) will be back to whisk guests away to Father Christmas’ magical woodland grotto.


Onsite there are grab-and-go vendors and indoor eating facilities for hot and cold food and drinks. You are welcome to bring your own picnic with some outdoor seating available.


Child entry age 3 -14 years.

Children 2 and under - free entry - will not have a coach seat but sit on the lap of minder.


Depart Approx - 6pm.
