We depart and make our way to Llandrindod Wells and our hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast.
During your stay
• The Elan Valley and the Dams Visitor Centre.
• We visit the National Cycle Museum in Llandrindod Wells. See bicycles from 1818, such as the Hobby Horse, Boneshakers and Penny Farthings, up to the most modern carbon fibre machines of today.
• An early start as we have a full day excursion to Aberystwyth and the Vale of Rheidol Railway. We catch the morning train along the former Great Western line to Devil’s Bridge - the last route
to operate steam trains for British Rail before private ownership in 1989. A short walk from the terminus brings you to the spectacular Mynach Falls. We take a break at Devil’s Bridge and have
time for refreshments before our return train.
• Visit to Welshpool, then Powis Castle/Garden - laid out under the influence of Italian and French style.

Your Hotel
The Metropole Hotel is located in the centre of the historic spa town of Llandrindod Wells and facilities include indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift.
