Christmas in Plymouth, Devon
From pilgrims to Pocahontas - Plymouth is steeped in history and on this fabulous holiday we feature two half day excursions, one taking us into Cornwall and the other to rugged Dartmoor.
The City of Plymouth has a great naval history, stretching back to the time of Sir Francis Drake and the Spanish Armada to today's ultra modern navy dockyards. We feature two half day excursions, one to Cornwall and the other to rugged Dartmoor.

Saturday
We depart and make our way to Devon, arriving late afternoon at our hotel where tea/coffee is served on arrival. Tonight dinner is followed by entertainment.
Christmas Eve
This morning we cross the Tamar Bridge at Saltash into Cornwall for a visit to the resort of Looe. Returning to the hotel in time for lunch, the afternoon is free for you to explore possibly the Barbican, the Hoe or look around the city centre and search for that last minute present. This afternoon the hotel will host tea, coffee and biscuits with yule log and light entertainment. Tonight we begin with a drinks reception prior to dinner, followed by entertainment.
Christmas Day
Merry Christmas! Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, then perhaps a stroll in the city or along the Hoe to work up an appetite for the traditional Christmas 4 course Lunch including welcome drink of Mulled wine and a visit from Santa. Watch the King's speech with tea, coffee and Christmas biscuits. Tonight there will be a cold buffet style dinner followed by entertainment.
Boxing Day
A morning excursion along the Tamar Valley to Tavistock on the edge of Dartmoor before returning for a 3 course buffet-style lunch. Tonight begins with a Bucks Fizz prior to a 4 Course Gala Dinner and final evening of live entertainment
Wednesday
After breakfast we depart for home.
