1. What is BCH Bonding

Bakers Dolphin is a memeber of the BCH bonding scheme.

The Bonded Coach Holiday (BCH) Scheme is approved by the Department of Trade and Industry as satisfying the requirements of the Package Travel Regulations.

Customers who book a holiday covered by the scheme have protection for the money they paid for their holiday if it has not yet accurred and for completion their holiday or repatriation if it has already started.

An agreement has existed for a number of years between ABTA and the Confederation of Passenger Transport whose members are usually involved in other areas of coach transportation than simply holidays. This removed the requirement for BCH Members to join ABTA as well.

You may believe that ABTA Membership is more widely recognised by the public but since ABTA withdrew their 100% guarantee of financial security last year, the BCH scheme actually offers the consumer better protection.
