We depart and make our way to Alnwick arriving late afternoon at the White Swan Hotel for the next 3 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast.
New Year's Eve
After a leisurely breakfast, the day is free to explore the traditional market town of Alnwick at leisure. Our New Year’s Eve evening begins with pre-dinner fizz and canapés followed by a Gala
Dinner with live entertainment in the form of a pianist and a DJ playing music for dancing. The New Year is celebrated with a Piper and singing the traditional chorus Auld Lang Syne.
New Years Day
Happy New Year! After a leisurely breakfast, we journey along the Northumberland coast making our first stop in the pretty harbour of Seahouses before continuing along the coast to Bamburgh.
The town is dominated by its famous castle that has a very rich history and was built as the capital of the Kingdom of Northumbria.

Set in the heart of the historic market town of Alnwick, the White Swan is a charming 300-year-old coaching inn that blends its unique heritage with superb accommodation. All bedrooms are en suite and have TV,telephone,hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
The hotel does not have a lift but some ground floor rroms available subject to availability.
