Monday
We depart and make our way to Keswick and our hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast.
During your stay
• A free day for you to explore your base of Keswick at your leisure. From our centrally located hotel you have the option to stroll down to Derwentwater and enjoy some retail therapy in the town’s boutique shops.
• We travel south first making a stop in Grasmere, a well-known Lakeland village famous for its Ginger Bread before continuing to Bowness-on-Windermere, a bustling tourist hotspot with independent
shops and home to the Beatrix Potter Museum (entry extra).
• Visit to Kendal, home of the ‘mint cake’.
• We head towards Penrith where there is an opportunity to look around the town before travelling along Ullswater regarded by many as the most beautiful of all the lakes.
• Short stop at the small village of Glenridding before we continue over the rugged Kirkstone Pass to Ambleside.
Friday
After breakfast we depart for home.

Based in the picturesque Lakes market town of Keswick, the newly refurbished Skiddaw Hotel provides the ideal base for exploring the Lake District. All bedrooms are en suite
with TV, telephone, hairdryer and tea/ coffee making facilities.
