Monday
We depart and make our way north to arrive at our hotel for 4 nights dinner,bed and breakfast.On arrival enjoy festive scones,jam and cream accompanied by mulled wine and before diiner this evening there will be a local gin tasting.
Christmas Eve
After breakfast you are free to explore the traditional market town of Alnwick at leisur. This afternoon, enjoy a festive pub quiz in the hotel ffollowed by a drinks reception before dinner
Christmas Day
Merry Christmas! Breakfast will be extra special with a festive glass of Bucks fizz after which you can relax before a traditional Christmas Day lunch. This afternoon the King's speech will be shown accompanied by Christmas Cake & Northumbrian cheese. later there will be a festive prize bingo and a light evening supper.
Boxing Day
After a leisurley breakfast, we travel along the Northumberland stopping first in the pretty harbour of Seahouses before we continue along the coast to Bamburgh, dominated by its famous castle that has enjoyed over 1,400 years of rich history. Tonight , we enjoy a farewell banquet with a resident pianist providing background music.
Friday
After breakfast we depart for home

Set in the heart of the historic market town of Alnwick, the White Swan is a charming 300-year-old coaching inn that blends its unique heritage with superb accommodation. All bedrooms are en suite and have TV,telephone,hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
