Longleat is all set to tell you a story as The Festival of Light returns in spectacular style for 2024 with a spectacular lantern trail to a historical wonderland just waiting to be explored from 9 November 2024 to 5 January 2025.

 

Celebrate the 10th anniversary of our iconic lantern event with... Journey through time

 

Turn back the clock and travel the world with us as we invite you to journey through time at The Festival of Light this Christmas. Explore the era you want to discover as we showcase the evolution of the earth from the age of the dinosaurs to present day. Become a time traveller and capture family memories with kings and queens, a giant 12 metre clock, the spectacular colours of The Arabian Nights or with the impressive House light show in celebration of Longleat opening its doors 75 years ago.

Upon arrival, your day will commence with your drive through the safari park (please note that we do not drive through the Monkey enclosure). Then you will have free time to explore the grounds and attractions at your leisure with the Illuminations switched on at 4pm.

 

Longleat has been one of the UK’s best-loved attractions for over 50 years. A full day of family fun at Longleat Safari & Adventure Park all set within 900 acres of Capability Brown landscaped grounds, Longleat House is widely regarded as one of the best examples of high Elizabethan architecture in Britain and one of the most beautiful stately homes. It was substantially completed by Sir John Thynne in 1580 and today, his descendants are still lucky enough to call it their home.

 

A Festival of Light Day Ticket gives you access to all of Longleat’s standard attractions including:

• Access to our stunning lantern scenes

• Festive attractions including the Enchanted Christmas Tree Show

• Our amazing Winter Drive Through Safari experience

• The chance to meet more of our famous animal residents on foot with our Walking Safari and Boat Safari

• A whole host of attractions to explore including Adventure Castle, Rockin’ Rhino and the Hedge Maze

• Longleat’s stunning grounds and gardens

The only things not included with a Festival of Light Day Ticket are optional extras, such as The Santa Train, Longleat House tour and animal feeding opportunities.

 

Tis’ the season to be jolly so enjoy a wonderful day out with your loved ones at Longleat this Christmas.

 

Child entry age 3 -14 years.

Children 2 and under - free entry - will not have a coach seat but sit on the lap of minder.

 

Please note: entry to the house is not included and can be booked for an extra charge on the day, subject to availability.

 

Depart Approx - 6pm.
