Mamma Mia! The Party recreates an authentic taverna in an old town square on the Greek island of Skopelos, where the original movie was filmed. Using extraordinary detail from the second you set foot into the space, the world becomes real: from a tourism office to souvenir stands, you will feel like you have taken a flight to Greece without actually leaving terra firma.

A LOVE STORY, SET IN A GREEK TAVERNA

Step onto Skopelos and discover a blossoming new story, with an English book by comedian Sandi Toksvig. Meet Nikos, Kate, Adam, and Konstantina as they navigate family life in the taverna, all as the sun sets over the Mediterranean. Find yourself lost in a fabulous world as a warm, romantic and funny story is performed all around you. Explore the glorious decor, which served as the backdrop to the iconic movies, and now dazzles guests.

 

DISCOVER THE FOOD OF SKOPELOS

Explore a four-course Greek meal, freshly made at Nikos Taverna. All of our food is made with the freshest ingredients and delivered straight to your table.

Enjoy a traditional Greek mezze and iconic Greek salad with spanakopita, followed by braised lamb stifado and slow-cooked beef, served with garlic-roasted baby potatoes and roasted vegetable briam. Round your evening off with a sumptuous Greek lemon cake, and a choice of tea & coffee with cranberry baklava.

For vegetarian & vegan guests, we offer wonderful alternative dishes. For your main, enjoy a potato and aubergine moussaka. For dessert, we serve loukoumades, delicious Greek donuts served with fig jam.

No pop group in history has given the world more iconic tracks than ABBA! Your evening will feature all the smash hits played with a live band, leaving room for a few more on the dancefloor after the show…

Mamma Mia! The Party gives you the chance to experience all your favourites like never before!

 

Your seated ticket will be in Tier B (NOT Tier C which have a restricted view) - Enjoy the beauty of your surroundings from the upper terrace and balconies. Each guest will receive a welcome drink, a delicious four-course Greek meal, full access to the Mamma Mia! The Party show, and an invite to enjoy an ABBA disco after the show. As Nikos Taverna is a sociable place, guests may find themselves sharing a table with other guests and you will be seated by the venue.

Some tables may have an obscured view of parts of the show due to elements of the Mamma Mia! The Party set, guests may need to turn around in their seat to see the action and a small number of Tier B tables are situated behind the band. The largest Tier B table accommodates a maximum of 6 guests. We are unable to guarantee availability of any particular size table and it is not possible to book specific tables.

 

The experience lasts approximately 4 hours but the party often continues. Don’t forget your dancing shoes!

Doors open at 12 noon for matinee performances. On arrival, you will be shown to your table, given a welcome drink and a starter to enjoy for about an hour before the party truly begins.
