Visit to the Grade II listed port of Charlestown, featured in TV’s popular drama series ‘Poldark’. The harbour was built in the 18th century to support the china clay and copper mining industries.
• Mevagissey with a maze of narrow streets around the harbour and the popular seaside town of Looe.
• The day is free for you to explore the historic city of Plymouth.
• We drive to rugged Bodmin Moor and stop at Jamaica Inn, with its Daphne Du Maurier associations and a museum filled with smuggling artefacts collected over many years.
• We travel to the North Cornwall coast and Tintagel with its dramatic castle ruins, and also the pretty harbour at Port Isaac, setting for TV’s Doc Martin

We depart and make our way to Plymouth where we enjoy the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast.
