Monday
We make our way to Dover and the ferry to Calais where we then continue to Cologne and our hotel for the next 3 nights with bed and breakfast.
Tuesday
A full day to enjoy the splendours of Cologne. The city boasts no less than six separate, colourful markets including one aboard a ship. Each market takes place on one of Cologne’s many impressive squares, surrounded by ornate, historic buildings
Wednesday
Today we travel to Bonn, the former capital of Germany and the 19th largest city. The impressive illuminated façades on Münsterplatz and its neighbouring streets are the festive backdrop for Bonn’s Christmas market. Later we return to the hotel.
Thursday
After breakfast we head for the ferry back to Dover and our journey to the West Country.
