We depart and make our way north, arriving at the Blackwell Grange Hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast.
During your stay
• We join the North Yorkshire Moors Railway for a steam train journey through rugged moorland to Whitby.
• Historic Richmond for free time and to explore.
• A Nostalgic ride on the ‘Wensleydale Railway’.
• Bilsdale - Little Switzerland to the Sun Inn, which has had the same landlord for 200 years!
• Visit to Yam for free time and enjoy some retail therapy or take a stroll along the banks of the River Tees
• Visit to Helmsley with its 12th century castle
• Kilburn, home of Mousey Thompson a famous wood worker renowned for his little mouse carvings and hand carved oak furniture.

The Blackwell Grange Hotel is a stunning 17th Century mansion which enjoys an enviable setting in the beautiful County of Durham countryside.
The hotel is nestled in wooded parkland in Darlington, located between the North Yorkshire Moors and the Pennines. Hotel facilities include leisure club with heated indoor swimming pool, spa and sauna and all bedrooms are en suite with TV, radio, telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee.
