Monday
We depart for Wales and our hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed & breakfast.
During your stay
• The Elan Valley and the Dams Visitor Centre for a short break.
• Visit to the National Cycle Museum in Llandrindod Wells and journey through the lanes of cycle history. See bicycles from 1818, such as the Hobby Horse, Boneshakers and Penny Farthings, up to the most modern carbon fibre machines of today.
• Full day excursion to Aberystwyth and the Vale of Rheidol Railway with a short break at Devil’s
Bridge.
• Free time in Welshpool before we visit the magnificent Powis Castle and Garden.
• Short break in Knighton before returning to base past Glog Hill.
Friday
After breakfast we depart for home.
The Metropole Hotel is located in the centre of the historic spa town of Llandrindod Wells, in the beautiful ‘Heart of Wales’ and facilities include indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, whirlpool and gym. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift.
