Monday
We depart and make our way to Llandrindod Wells and on to our hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast.
During your stay
• The medieval town of Brecon situated on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. We enjoy some free time to explore.
• Penderyn Distillery, home to Wales’ most famous whisky. Here you will enjoy a guided tour of the distillery followed by a tasting of some Penderyn whisky.
• We stop at Rhayader where we have the morning to explore, and then continue our journey on to the Elan Valley Dams.
• We head through the Welsh Countryside over the border into England where we visit Ludlow. Explore the narrow streets of this walled medieval town and perhaps visit Ludlow Castle.
• The largest settlement we visit during this tour, there is much to see and do in the city of Hereford. Perhaps enjoy the historic cathedral, the wide range of museums, or take a stroll along the River Wye.
Friday
After breakfast we depart for home.
Your Hotel
The Metropole Hotel is located in the centre of the historic spa town of Llandrindod Wells, in the beautiful ‘Heart of Wales’ and facilities include indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, whirlpool and gym. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift.
