We depart and make our way to Lincolnshire and our hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast.
During your stay
Market town of Oakham - see the town’s heritage attractions including the Butter Cross, a 14th-century church, Rutland County Museum and its Norman Castle.
• Visit to Melton Mowbray on market day. The town is home to Stilton, Red Leicester Cheese and of course the famous Melton Mowbray Pork Pie. Head inside Melton Carnegie Museum to
see an original pie oven, grab a pie at Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe or visit the Anne of Cleves pub.
• Belvoir Castle, chosen to represent Windsor Castle in the Netflix’s hit series ‘The Crown’. You will enjoy a guided tour of the castle with time to explore the beautiful gardens.
• Visit to the historic city of Lincoln and its magnificent Cathedral.
• The market town of Newark-on-Trent where the ruins of the 12th century Castle landmark and the historic marketplace are worth visiting.
