Holiday Highlights:
• We travel to Hawkshead with its delightful cottages and cobbles, then on to Ambleside with its much-photographed Bridge House.
• Keswick on the banks of Ullswater and considered the capital of the North Lakes
• We venture into the Yorkshire Dales with a stop in the small market town of Kirby Lonsdale
• Visit to Kendal with its castle ruins, quaint cobbled streets and antique shops.
• Bowness-on-Windermere, a bustling tourist hotspot with independent shops and interesting museums to explore.
Monday
We depart and make our way to Cumbria and our hotel where we enjoy the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast.
During your stay
• We travel to Hawkshead with its delightful cottages and cobbles, then on to Ambleside with its much-photographed Bridge House.
• Keswick on the banks of Ullswater and considered the capital of the North Lakes, with its range of shops, galleries and attractions to explore.
• We venture into the Yorkshire Dales with a stop in the small market town of Kirby Lonsdale before continuing via Ingleton to Skipton.Known as the ‘Gateway to the Dales’, we visit Skipton on market day, so you can shop for local goods or look for a bargain.
• Visit to Kendal with its castle ruins, quaint cobbled streets and antique shops.
• Bowness-on-Windermere, a bustling tourist hotspot with independent shops and interesting museums to explore

After breakfast we depart home.
Your Hotel:
Directly overlooking Windermere in lovely, landscaped grounds, Newby Bridge Hotel is the perfect base for a Lake District holiday. Facilities include a leisure centre with pool, gym and steam room. All bedrooms are en suite with TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel does not have a lift.
