In 1879, Richard and George Cadbury decided to move their expanding business from Birmingham's city centre into the countryside four and a half miles away and built Bournville Village for their workers.

 

Cadbury World is an adventure into the world of chocolate. From humble beginnings in a shop in Birmingham the Cadbury brothers created a chocolate empire that has factories around the world.

Discover the origins of the cocoa bean and the history of the nation’s favourite chocolate brand, before jumping onboard our brand-new Cadbury Chocolate Quest ride! Join Freddo and his team of helpful Buttons monkeys to collect the ingredients needed to make a bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk. Plus, a whole host of Cadbury characters will whisk you away on an adventurous journey in the 4D Chocolate Adventure cinema experience, complete with motion seats!

A visit to Cadbury World is not a factory tour. Cadbury World is located in the grounds of the original Cadbury factory, but isn't a tour of the factory itself. Instead, you’ll discover the history, the making and the magic of Cadbury confectionery as you journey through our chocolatey zones.
