Cardiff Christmas Market and shopper

Cardiff, the Capital of Wales. Within the compact city centre you'll find unique attractions, top class entertainment - and quality shopping with a difference. Innovative architecture sits alongside historic buildings, the bustle of the city centre is only a few strides from acres of peaceful parklands, and Cardiff Bay offers indoor and outdoor entertainment for everyone.

Cardiff shopping has it all: large shopping centres, high street favourites, individual stores, and a thriving indoor market. The real highlight of Cardiff’s retail scene are the Victorian and Edwardian arcades, full of independent boutiques and cafes, and worth a visit as architectural gems.

The 2024 Cardiff Christmas Market will return from Thursday 14 November until Monday 23 December.

This well established Christmas Market sited in the heart of Cardiff City Centre has been organised and successfully run by us for 30 years. It is a unique visitor attraction and offers an alternative shopping experience as you are buying original work directly from the makers themselves. Each year we have an extensive rolling programme of over 200 individual businesses selling a wide variety of diverse arts and crafts interspersed with seasonal food and drink.

The original, hand made work of our makers is the essence of what makes our market so different and special every year.

This year the Cardiff Christmas Market is located in St John Street, Working Street, Trinity Street and the Hayes   –  the main shopping pedestrian areas in Cardiff City Centre.

Depart: 6pm.
