• Explore Düsseldorf city centre during the festive season and enjoy the Christmas markets. Be sure to see the restored 100-year-old merry-go-round.
• Travel to the majestic city of Cologne whose history traces back more than 2,000 years when it was founded as a Roman colony. Idyllic Christmas markets open their gates to visitors offering traditional and handcrafted gifts. Smell the spicy aromas of cinnamon stars, baked apples and roasted almonds that fill the air

Sadly we must depart from our hotel after breakfast and make our way back to Calais and return ferry for an arrival home early evening
