Enjoy the lovely markets in Rüdesheim. At this Christmas market you will discover the special hospitality, the goods and the craftsmanship of a German Christmas.
Sunday
After breakfast we visit the old spa town of Wiesbaden on the banks of the river Rhine. Explore the historic old quarter with its narrow, winding streets lined with 18th century buildings.
The Christmas market in Wiesbaden called the Twinkling Star takes place on the Schloss Platz in the heart of the city, providing an atmospheric setting for the market.
Monday
We must leave Rudesheim to make our way back for the ferry to Dover then on to the West Country.
Your hotel
The Hotel Lindenwirt is situated in the heart of the historical old town of Rüdesheim. Timberframed buildings with carved gazebos, open galleries overlooking the lovely courtyard, and the old lime tree create a unique backdrop for your holiday. All bedrooms are en suite with TV and hairdryer.
