Christmas at Chatsworth & Bakewell

Day 1
We depart and make our way to South Yorkshire to arrive late afternoon. We will
enjoy the next two nights dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 2
This morning we make the short journey to Bakewell where we have time to look around the town and enjoy a short break, perhaps with a slice of Bakewell Tart from the Original Pudding Shop. From here we head to Chatsworth House, delightfully decorated for Christmas, and we enjoy a tour of the house, with an opportunity to visit the shop, well stocked with seasonal gifts. Leaving Chatsworth we drive to the Peak District village of Castleton to see the switching on of the village’s Christmas Lights. Later we make our way to the hotel.
Day 3
After breakfast we leave for home.

The Holiday Inn South Normanton is situated close to the Peak District in a peaceful location off the M1 Junction 28. Hotel facilities include a 24 hour gym and all bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel does not have a lift.
