Chatsworth is the magnificent Derbyshire home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. It is a place of great beauty and history set amid breath-taking scenery.

Friday
We depart and make our way to Yorkshire, arriving late afternoon at our hotel with time to settle in before dinner this evening.
Saturday
This morning we make the short journey to Bakewell where we have time to look around the town and enjoy a coffee break, perhaps with a slice of Bakewell Tart from the Original Pudding Shop. We leave around midday for Chatsworth House, delightfully decorated for Christmas, with the opportunity to visit the shop which will be well stocked with seasonal gifts. You may wish to end the day with a well-deserved cuppa in the café before we return to the hotel.
Sunday
After breakfast we depart for home.

The Best Western Plus West Retford Hotel is set in pretty gardens close to the town centre of Retford. This former 18th century manor house is ideal for this break. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
