Wednesday
We depart and make our way to Bournemouth, arriving in the afternoon in time for tea/coffee. Settle into your room and get ready to meet the team at a drink’s reception before dinner this
evening. Entertainment is provided each evening.
Christmas Eve
This morning, we visit nearby Poole, with its interesting harbour and quayside. We make our way back to Bournemouth town centre for some last-minute shopping. Dinner this evening is followed by another evening of entertainment. For those wishing to attend Midnight Mass details of local churches will be available in the hotel.
Christmas Day
Merry Christmas! Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and relaxing morning before taking our seats for a fabulous 5-course Christmas Lunch. The King’s speech is accompanied by Afternoon Tea then it’s time for an afternoon movie. Dinner this evening is buffet style with the soothing sounds of an organist in the background, followed by Christmas bingo and more entertainment.
Boxing Day
This morning, we make our way to Christchurch for some free time. Tonight’s dinner will be followed by a final evening of entertainment.
Sunday
After breakfast we depart for home.
Your Hotel
The Durley Dean Hotel stands on Bournemouth’s West Cliff just a short walk from the cliff top and town centre. Hotel facilities include Leisure Club with indoor swimming pool, sauna and gym (accessible by stairs only). All bedrooms are en suite with TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
