Tuesday
We depart and make our way to Lancashire, arriving late afternoon at our hotel where tea/coffee and mince pies await. Enjoy some in-house entertainment after dinner this evening.
Christmas Eve
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before we make our way to fashionable Lytham St Annes to explore the town at your own pace. Later we return to the hotel with time to relax before dinner this evening.
Christmas Day
Merry Christmas! Start the day with a relaxing walk or perhaps make use of the hotel’s leisure facilities. Later we enjoy a traditional Christmas Day lunch with all the trimmings followed by the
King’s Speech with tea/coffee and Christmas cake. Time to relax before this evening’s hot buffet dinner.
Boxing Day
After a leisurely breakfast we enjoy a ride through the beautiful Ribble Valley to Longridge and north to the city of Lancaster, with its historic castle for some free time. We return to the hotel for our
final evening and after dinner this evening there is entertainment to finish off our festive week away.
Saturday
After breakfast we depart for home.
YOUR HOTEL
The Mercure Blackburn Dunkenhalgh Hotel and Spa is set inside a beautiful country manor house, the building retains many of its original features. The spa offers a full range of professional treatments and an impressive heated indoor pool. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift.
