Monday
We depart for Ilfracombe arriving at our hotel where we enjoy a welcome drink with time to settle in before dinner this evening.
Christmas Eve
Today we visit Barnstaple where you can enjoy some free time exploring the town and its elegant Georgian buildings. We return to the hotel in time for dinner.
Christmas Day
Merry Christmas! Enjoy a leisurely morning around the hotel or build up an appetite with a walk to the beach before sitting down to a fantastic 4 course Christmas Day lunch with all the trimmings.
In the afternoon you can relax and enjoy watching the Kings speech. This evening a light evening buffet will be served.
Boxing Day
This morning, we enjoy a scenic tour of Exmoor National Park, one of the largest stretches of unspoilt countryside in the area.We return to the hotel with plenty of time to relax before dinner
this evening.
Friday
After breakfast we depart for home.
YOUR HOTEL
Situated on the level seafront of this hugely popular Victorian seaside resort stands the welcoming Dilkhusa Grand Hotel. The hotel was originally a private house, bought by a Raj at the turn of the last century as a gift to his wife - Dilkhusa translates from Hindustani roughly as ‘House of the Happy Heart!’ The hotel overlooks the picturesque Runnymede gardens and just a short walk from the bustling 10th-century harbour. All bedrooms are en suite with TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift.
