Sunday
We depart for North Wales and take the ferry to Dublin, continuing to our overnight at the Carrickdale Hotel with dinner, bed and breakfast.
Monday
We depart for Belfast with free time to explore, before travelling north to the Lodge Hotel, Coleraine, arriving late afternoon for four nights with dinner, bed and breakfast.
During your stay
• An early start to visit the extraordinary Giant’s Causeway and its award-winning Visitor Centre, discovering the mystery behind this unique landscape.
• A scenic drive along the magnificent Causeway Coastal Route, stopping at Maghera Cross for spectacular views.
Continue to the picturesque seaside resort of Portrush, with free time to explore its cafés, shops and ice cream parlours.
• Travel west to Derry for a fascinating 2-hour step-on guide and walking tour, “Unlocking the Walled City”, discovering 400 years of history and stories.
• Free time to explore Ireland’s only completely intact historic Walled City, its award-winning museums and locations associated with the popular TV series Derry Girls.
• Visit the award-winning Glenarm Walled Garden, with its colourful Victorian planting, Yew Circle, Herb Garden and Woodland Walk. Enjoy beautiful views towards the North Channel before returning north via the spectacular Antrim Coast.
Friday
Farewell to Killarney as we make our way back to our overnight with dinner, bed and breakfast
Saturday
Depart for the ferry back to Wales, then onwards to the West Country.

The Lodge Hotel Located on the edge of Coleraine, this welcoming hotel offers a comfortable base for exploring the Causeway Coast. Bedrooms are well equipped, with most located in a separate building with covered access to the main hotel. The hotel has a lift.
