We depart and make our way to Dover and the ferry to Calais then onwards to Rouen and our hotel with time to settle in and explore the area.
During your stay
• Amiens is home to the largest Christmas market in northern France. Mini-chalets and traditional stalls cluster around the Hôtel de Ville selling Picardy specialities such as Beauvais chocolate tuiles and Amiens macaroons, as well as Christmas treats and fayre.
• The cobbled streets of Rouen with timbered houses, dwarfed by the imposing cathedral, often painted by Claude Monet. The Place de la Cathédrale is the venue for Rouen's annual Christmas market.

We depart after breakfast for Calais and the ferry to Dover then onwards to the West Country.
The Ibis Rouen Centre Rive Droite Pasteur Ideally located on the banks of the Seine and close to the historic centre. All bedrooms are en suite with TV and free Wi-Fi. The hotel has a lift.
