We depart and make our way to Hampshire, arriving late afternoon at the Elvetham Hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed & breakfast.
During your stay
• The county town of Guildford with its magnificent cathedral and cobbled high street.
• Denbies Wine Estate where we enjoy a 50-minute Vineyard tour by train. Commentary is provided on board, accompanied by a glass of Denbies Sparkling Wine.
• Chawton House famously known as the residence of Jane Austen, you can see original examples of Austen’s writing, and the original family dining room, and relax in the tranquil gardens.
• The historic city of Winchester for free time.
• Henley-on-Thames – famous for its annual regatta with a little time to explore the town before we board our boat for our 1 hour river cruise along the Thames.
• Royal Windsor where you have free time to explore the quaint streets and the many independent stores.

Located in North Hampshire, the Elvetham Hotel is a historic 19th-century mansion set within 35 acres of gardens and retaining many of its period features. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone, hairdryer and tea/ coffee making facilities.
