The charming town of Menton is set on the magnificent Cote D’Azur close to the Italian/French border and is host, to the world-renowned annual Menton Lemon Festival. On this wonderful NEW tour, experience the magnificent parade, where for two weeks each year, the town’s streets are taken over by bands, floats and giant sculptures made from colourful fruits.

Wednesday
We depart for Dover and the ferry to Calais. Then on Dijon for our overnight with bed and breakfast.
Thursday
We continue our journey into Italy to arrive in our resort for the next 5 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast.
During your stay
• We enjoy a morning visit to the border town of Ventimiglia and can explore its fantastic market (Fridays only). We then visit elegant San Remo for a stroll along the seafront.
• We enjoy a full day at the famous Lemon Festival in the beautiful coastal town of Menton on the French Riviera. This unique event sees the town adorned with artistic and highly imaginative
displays constructed from local oranges and lemons and is truly a sight to behold.
• Free day to explore San Bartolomeo.
• We visit the lovely seaside town of Diano Marina,
with its charming pedestrianised centre. We spend the afternoon at leisure in Alassio.
Tuesday
We depart and make our way back to Dijon and our overnight hotel with bed and breakfast.
Wednesday.
We head to Calais for our return crossing to Dover and onward to the West Country.

The family run Hotel Bergamo, San Bartolomeo is located within a short walk of the seafront and offers traditional hospitality and leisure facilities including outdoor swimming pool. All bedrooms are en suite with TV and hairdryer. The hotel has a lift.
