Included in this trip is a 1 hour scenic and naval harbour cruise with Plymouth Boat Trips and explore the beautiful Devon and Cornish coasts, with live commentary, on board café and licensed bar. Boats depart daily from the Barbican Landing Stage, adjacent to the Mayflower Steps, Plymouth.

 

Set sail across Plymouth Sound, flanked by the beautiful Devon and Cornish coasts. Full commentary is provided. We then continue along the River Tamar, taking in spectacular views of Plymouth Hoe and famous Drakes Island, heading for the Royal Naval Dockyard, where the mighty warships and submarines await.

Wander the Barbican’s quaint cobbled quayside following in the Pilgrim Father’s footsteps or visit the imposing National Marine Aquarium with its deepwater fish tanks on the waterfront of Sutton Harbour. Just one of the many attractions of Plymouth for the visitor. Or sample Plymouth’s finest export at the Blackfriars Gin Distillery.

 

There’s more family fun to be had up on the Hoe where you can climb the iconic Smeaton’s Tower lighthouse. Take the plunge at Tinside Lido, the restored Art Deco swimming pool or simply take in the panoramic view of busy boating activity from this stunning natural amphitheatre.
