Monday
We depart and make our way to Yorkshire and the New Southlands hotel where we enjoy the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast.
During your stay
• Whitby, the famous fishing port which was once the home of Captain James Cook. High above the harbour stands the 7th century Whitby Abbey, the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
• Visit to Scarborough Fairground Heritage museum. Step back in time as you wander around the various halls packed full of wonderful exhibits and vintage fairground rides!
• A free day to discover the varied attractions of Scarborough.
• We journey to York where you are free to explore this fascinating city with lots of attractions to keep you busy • Visit to the Ryedale Vineyard, an award
winning winery at the foot of the Yorkshire
Wolds. We will enjoy a tour of the winery,
learning how much dedication goes into
producing their wine and our tour will end
with a tasting.

Situated on Scarborough’s South Cliff, the New Southlands Hotel offers spacious public rooms in which you can relax. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift.
