Previously known as The Spring Knitting & Stitching Show which took place at Olympia, London, The Stitch Festival was introduced in 2024 to offer something a little different for the modern maker.
The Stitch Festival takes place in the heart of Islington, one of Londons most vibrant and diverse areas. It serves the sewing community as well as those interested in crochet, knitting, cross stitch, embroidery and other contemporary crafts.
The Stitch Festival celebrates dressmaking in particular with an emphasis on independent pattern brands and fabric designers, as well as an annual Dressmaking Competition with six different categories. But its not just dressmaking! Youll find yourself surrounded by colour and creativity with everything from crochet and embroidery to macrame and cross stitch. Its a delightful day out for creative people!
The Stitch Festival is the best event in London for contemporary dressmaking, sewing and stitch.
