Take That will be hitting the road next summer with the return of one of their biggest and most iconic live shows: The Circus Live. Originally staged in 2009, The Circus Live broke UK records as the fastest-selling tour in history, with over 600,000 tickets sold in under 5 hours, and over one million fans attending the sell-out shows across the UK and Ireland.
Formed as a five-piece in 1989, Take That enjoyed immediate success with their first two albums charting at No.2 and No.1 respectively. Third album Nobody Else confirmed their global domination, selling over six million copies and topping the charts in 11 countries. The departure of band member Robbie Williams prompted a break-up in 1996 and nine years in the wilderness before the remaining four members reunited for 2005s The Ultimate Tour. This sparked one of the greatest comebacks in British music history with Take That going on to release three Number 1 albums in just four years. Robbies return for 2011s Progress saw them break UK records for the fastest-selling album of the 21st century and fastest-selling tour of all time. Williams second departure, along with that of Jason Orange, left the remaining three members to release III and 2017s Wonderland, which were certified platinum and gold respectively.
Take That celebrated their 30th anniversary with the release of Odyssey in 2018, a greatest hits album of beautifully re-imagined versions of some of the biggest tracks from their three-decade-spanning career. The album entered the charts at No.1 and was closely followed by a critically acclaimed UK and European stadium and arena tour in 2019.
In 2023 Take That released their ninth album, This Life, followed by a major world tour the following year. In 2024 the band also hosted their own festival in Malta with The Greatest Weekend spanning four days in Ta' Qali, seeing the band perform Everything Changes live in its entirety for the first time since its release in 1993.
In September 2025 Take That announced the return of The Circus Live for Summer 2026, kicking off at St Marys Stadium in Southampton on 29 May followed by a string of stadium dates around the UK and Ireland.
