Monday
We depart and make our way north to Wemyss Bay where we join the ferry for the crossing to the Isle of Bute and Rothesay, arriving at our hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast
During your stay
• Travel through the Highlands alongside Loch Fyne to Inveraray, where we visit magnificent Inveraray Castle, ancestral home of the Duke of Argyll and featured in Downton Abbey.
• Free time in Rothesay, Bute's charming Victorian capital.
• Enjoy a scenic island drive to Mount Stuart, exploring its spectacular neo-Gothic mansion, beautiful gardens, woodland walks and private beach.

After breakfast we depart home.

Set in an outstanding position above its own terraced gardens, the Glenburn Hotel enjoys superb view across the waters of Rothesay Bay to the Cowal Peninsula. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, hairdryer and tea/ coffee making facilities. The lift serves most floors.
