One hundred and thirty years ago this house and its setting were created to delight and surprise the small circle of Baron Ferdinand's friends. More than 300,000 visitors a year now come to Waddesdon to appreciate the exceptional art collections.
Waddesdons rich history and beautiful surroundings inspire the menu at the Manor Restaurant. Our food philosophy is simple yet meaningful: local, creative, fresh.
Every dish is carefully crafted by our chefs, using the finest seasonal ingredients. Much of this produce comes from Eythrope Gardens, just three miles from Waddesdon Manor. Originally designed by Alice de Rothschild in the late 19th century and meticulously restored by the late Lord and Lady Rothschild, these gardens continue to supply fresh flowers and produce to the Manor Restaurant, ensuring each flavour reflects the estates heritage.
