Monday
We depart and make our way to Yorkshire and our hotel for the next 4 nights with dinner, bed and breakfast
During your stay
• The ancient city of York where the day is free to wander the old streets of ‘The Shambles’, stroll the city walls, and of course pay a visit to the magnificent York Minster (extra) and no visit to York is complete without a treat at Betty’s famous tearooms.
• The attractive Spa town of Harrogate. There are acres of immaculate gardens and a wonderful range of quality shops and tearooms. Take a stroll through delightful Valley Gardens and relax with a drink.
• Scenic tour of the Dales begins at Ripon, dominated by its Cathedral, before continuing to Pateley Bridge, on the banks of the River Nidd
• A drink at ‘The Woolpack’ in the sleepy little village of Esholt, where the pub was used for exterior scenes in Emmerdale for many years.
Friday
After breakfast we depart for home.
Your Hotel
The Great Victoria Hotel, Bradford. A grand 19th century hotel and a perfect base for this tour.
All bedrooms are en suite with TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
